What Does Your Logo Say About you?

By Sandy Jurewicz in Design

When starting up any new business, you need to think about a variety of things before the money comes rolling in. One of the most common mistakes that people make when embarking on their new venture, is cutting corners and settling with a “home-made” logo – one that Aunt Carol’s daughter’s, sister’s, best friends’ dog drew up in Word.

Although you might save some money by doing this, you aren’t helping your image or your business in the long run. Your logo is much more than a pretty picture; it attracts your target audience, makes your business look more professional (which encourages your audience to feel like they can trust you), portrays your values visually, and creates an identity that people can recognise.

As designers, we love to dig deep into your brand’s identity and create several concepts that compliment your business, and help showcase what you’re all about. Your logo represents the very essence of who you are, and for that we use our skills to work with you and make your vision come to life. Once a concept has been chosen and developed as a final, we provide you with a logo pack including the original .eps files, .jpg’s and .png’s, which are there for you to use wherever needed. In remembering how important your logo is, treat this pack like you would your chocolate stash… (keep it in a safe place and always back it up!)

The most exciting part of having a brand spankin’ new logo, is adding it to all of your business collateral. A fancy new letterhead, business cards, brochures, name badges, capabilities statements or even a car wrap. Your logo helps to build a recognisable brand for your business, all the while making you look extra glossy and professional. Best of all, we can do it here at JAZ!
